Foreign Policy Forum to Highlight Candidates in VA-10 Democratic Primary
It is time for a new conversation about America’s engagement in the world. We need leaders who will stand for strong, principled American foreign policy. With the mid-term elections a few months away, who will fight to keep us safe and out of conflicts, promote the prosperity of all Americans, and uphold our values.
The AAPI Victory Fund, Council for a Livable World, Emgage Action, Foreign Policy for America, J Street, Latino Victory and NIAC Action will host a foreign policy candidate forum for the Virginia’s 10th Congressional District Democratic Primary on March 4, 2018. VA-10 has been held by a Republican since 1980 and was named a battleground district in 2016. The recent presidential and 2017 gubernatorial elections trended Democratic by at least 10 points. The 2018 mid-term election for this district will be widely watched across the nation.
Moderated by Jessica Schulberg, foreign policy reporter for The Huffington Post, and Leopoldo Martinez, principal at LMN Consulting and Founder of IQ Latino, the candidates will discuss issues affecting U.S. national security, prosperity and values.
